Nishita Patel, MD
Dr. Patel is an Ophthalmologist specializing in comprehensive medical eye care and cataract and lens implant surgery. In addition to offering custom cataract surgery and premium IOL implantation, she also performs routine eye care and contact lens exams. As a native of Florida, Dr. Patel grew up in Ft. Lauderdale. She received her undergraduate degree at the University of Miami and her Doctorate of Medicine from Florida State University College of Medicine. She completed her internship at Orlando Regional Medical Center and went on to complete her Ophthalmology residency at Yale University School of Medicine.
Dr. Patel is a volunteer physician at Grace Medical Home and Shepherd's Hope, and is a clinical instructor for the FSU College of Medicine. She also gives educational seminars to the local community and is a certified investigator for clinical trials.
Dr. Patel enjoys the Florida sun, sports, traveling, and spending time with her puppies. Her recent travels have included Spain, Portugal, and Greece. She is an avid Hurricanes, Dolphins, and Heat fan and loves watching games.ype your paragraph here.
