Dr. Chriss is an Ophthalmologist who is Fellowship trained in Cornea and External Diseases. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and specializes in cataract surgery and anterior segment surgery. Dr. Chriss performs custom and laser cataract surgery, premium IOL surgery, conjunctival surgery, and "sutureless" corneal transplant surgery in Winter Park.. She also performs comprehensive medical eye exams, as well as routine eye and contact lens exams.
Dr. Chriss graduated Summa Cum Laude and received her Medical Degrees from the University of Mississippi and the University of Florida. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and her history of professional memberships have included the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Contact Lens Association of Ophthalmologists, and the Florida Society of Ophthalmology. Dr. Chriss has served as the medical co-director of the Medical Eye Bank of Florida, President of the Central Florida Society of Ophthalmology, Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology at Winter Park Memorial Hospital, Regional Society representative of the Florida Society of Ophthalmology, and as a representative of the Executive committee of the American College of Surgeons - Candidates and Associates Society.
Dr. Chriss enjoys spending time with her family. She enjoys visiting the parks with her son and planning new family adventures for upcoming vacations. Her current interests include technology, skating, video games, and learning to engage in most anything of interest to a youngster.
Dr. Lu is an Ophthalmologist who practices comprehensive ophthalmology and cataract surgery. She is Board Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Ophthalmology, Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery (AOBOO-HNS) and is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Lu earned her undergraduate B.S. degree in Molecular Biology & Microbiology and her minor in psychology in 2007 from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL. She then went on to attend medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, FL and received her degree in 2011. Dr. Lu then completed her internship year and ophthalmology residency at Valley Hospital in Las Vegas, NV and served as Chief Resident of Ophthalmology during her senior year.
Dr. Lu enjoys spending time with her family, scuba diving, visiting theme parks and traveling. She also enjoys spending time with her two Pembroke Welsh Corgis and playing video games with her nephews.
